Hitchin Remembrance Day service - find out more

Remembrance Sunday is a national opportunity to remember the service and sacrifice of all those that have defended our freedoms and protected our way of life.

We remember the Armed Forces, and their families, from Britain and the Commonwealth, the vital role played by the emergency services and those who have lost their lives as a result of conflict or terrorism.

Hitchin's Remembrance Day service:

St Mary's Remembrance Sunday Civic Service will take place on November 13.

It will begin at 10am, followed by wreath laying at 11am for the Act of Remembrance by the War Memorial

As there will be no street procession in Hitchin again, the procession will commence into the church from Church House, followed by another from the church to the War Memorial.

Hitchin Nub News will be present at the service. See our website and Facebook page here for our unrivalled, extensive coverage.
