Hitchin set for freezing temperatures

Hitchin will experience freezing temperatures for the rest of the week, but snow is not expected.

The last day of November started with lows of -3° before eventually warming up to the heady heights of 3° with another bitterly cold evening expected - with temperatures plummeting to -2°.

Friday will be even colder, starting at -2° rising to the positively sultry zero degrees before falling below zero by 6pm.

Saturday will see lows of -4° and highs of 3°.

However, there is no snow is forecast for our area in early December.
