Hitchin: Severe rush hour delays on Nightingale Road due to roadworks

HITCHIN: There are currently delays on a major road in our town this morning, Wednesday (March 16).].B]

Nightingale Road is experiencing severe delays in both directions after roadworks.

A traffic light system is in action near to the Audi garage, with single file traffic only permitted at the moment. Queues are backing up to Hitchin station roundabout as well as all the way down past Molly Malones.

Nub News is attempting to find out the cause of the roadworks but we can confirm it is not related to Herts County Council Highways.
