HITCHIN: On International Women's Day St May's Church is hosting a display backing a world free of bias, stereotypes and discrimination.

The global event celebrates a world that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive. A world where difference is valued and celebrated and call son people to come together to forge women's equality.

St Mary's support for IWD comes in the form of a colourful display on the hedge at Churchyard that celebrates women with the church saying: "We are happy to host this display to mark International Women's' Day 2022.

"We celebrate all the wonderful women throughout our town, and support women across the world.

"St Mary's Mothers' Union leads our worship on the first Wednesday of each month at 11am.

"Why not message a brilliant woman you know with an encouragement or thank you today?"
