Hitchin Swim Centre and Archer's Gym have confirmed when they will open their doors once again.

The gym and swimming pool near to Fishponds Road had been forced to close under the government's lockdown rules.

However, after being shut since before Christmas the popular centre next to Butts Close has said it will reopen next month.

In an email to members seen by Hitchin Nub News the owners of the centre SLL confirmed they would reopen the site in April.

SLL wrote: "We've got exciting news…we are writing to confirm that following on from the government's latest announcement we are pleased to be able to reopen Hitchin Swim Centre and Archers on Monday, April 12."
