A much-loved owner of a popular Hitchin store has sent a warm message to her customers - thanking them for their support.

The brilliant Jess Princeton owner of Riot Lounge on Sun Street has hailed loyal shoppers.

In a message on Instagram, iconic Jess wrote: "A big thank you as always to all you wonderful humans that support me and my small but very packed shop, in all the ways that you do.

"I appreciate you, love, Jess - thank you for your support, thank you for being a friend."

The centre of Hitchin is starting to thrive again following a challenging 18 months full of lockdowns, which prevented shoppers from supporting our raft of wonderful independent stores, including Riot Lounge.

Riot Lounge is an eclectic independent company that designs and curates beautiful clothes, shoes, accessories and gifts for people that love to celebrate their uniqueness.

Hitchin Nub News is a big supporter of the brilliant businesses in our town - and our message is shop local!
