Hitchin and its surrounding areas have a raft of excellent primary schools.
Nub News has been pouring over official government data to find out which primary school in our town is the hardest to get into.
The most recent statistics available from the Department of Education have revealed that St Andrew's Church of England Voluntary Aided Primary School has been the most oversubscribed in our town.
The list details the number of first choice applications, the number of places offered, preferences per offer and first preferences offered.
Therefore, the lower the percentage in the 1st preferences row, the harder the school is for pupils to be accepted into.
