Hitchin: Then and now - open air pool reopens for summer!

Hitchin's outdoor pool has finally opened once again!
The open air pool at Hitchin Swimming Centre is now welcoming visitors - and with the weather set for sunshine, maybe a few sun seekers too.
Our photograph of the pool was taken before it reopened - contrast that to North Herts District Council's black and white image taken more than 50 years ago.
Lee Medlock, Regional Contract Manager at SLL said: "After many months of being stuck indoors during lockdown, we are looking forward to welcoming visitors back to our facilities.
"We hope that that people will be able to make the most of them."
