Save the date: July 16 to July 18, 2021 - for that's when the brilliant family friendly festival Todd In The Hole will return!

The music festival situated between Hitchin and Stevenage had to cancel this year's event due to the coronavirus crisis - but organisers are determined to be back bigger and better next year.

The event based at Bury Wood, Todds Green, has faced an uphill battle during these challenging times and will feel the strain over the coming year after forking out non-refundable deposits and bills for an event which now won't take place until next July.

However, the popular festival said in a statement to punters: "Thank you for bearing with us during recent weeks in this period of such uncertainty. Your messages of support and your love for Todd have been incredible.

"Since its inception in 2018, one of our main aims for the festival was to bring the wonderful people of Hertfordshire together to celebrate our incredible community spirit.

"But we will work through this, we will survive and we will make sure 2021 is the Todd of all Todds."

Todds' ticket partner Ticketline will be in touch with all Todd 2020 ticket holders directly to discuss their options.

Todd are advising that if you can make their re-scheduled date, then they'd love for you to keep hold of your tickets for next year's event and guarantee the best value tickets.

Tickets will go back on sale soon for Todd 2021, but with their allocation of early bird tickets already snapped up and their tier 1 allocation showing 80 per cent sold out festival go-ers are urged to hurry.

In addition, as a gesture of the festival's heartfelt thanks for sticking with them, the drinks are on them – well not all of them. Todd have promised to give each adult ticketholder who has bought a 2020 ticket two free drinks on entry to Todd 2021.

If you would like a refund, Ticketline will be able to process this for you, on Todds behalf.

Festival organisers also explained that when this pandemic comes to an end, they firmly believe community events like Todd will play an important part in our areas recovery.

They added that by coming together to share in a common experience we can all build stronger, more resilient communities saying: "That is why we will do absolutely everything we can to make 2021 extra special for you.

"We've spoken to this years' headliners and bands and they all absolutely can't wait to put on the performance of their lives at Todd 2021!"
