Hitchin Town back in action as Top Field hosts Mickleover Sports in FA Trophy tonight

After 38 days without a competitive match Hitchin Town are back in action this evening when they entertain Mickleover Sports in the FA Trophy First Round proper at Top Field, kick-off 745pm.

The visitors are flying high at the top of the Northern Premier League and will present a tough challenge for the Canaries, who warmed up for the match with friendly on Saturday against Harefield United, which saw them win 5-1.

Tickets for the Mickleover game can now be purchased online up until 4pm this afternoon. Season ticket holders are reminded that they must buy a ticket for this game as the Canaries have to share the gate with Micklover.

In a message to fans, Hitchin Town explained: "No Mickleover supporters are allowed to attend because they are from Tier 3.

"Please buy your tickets early to avoid disappointment as we are still limited to a maximum of 600.

"With no league games to be played in the next few weeks the Trophy game will be even more eagerly anticipated as supporters are desperate for their football fix.

"Admission prices are as normal and programmes can also be bought online."

Admission tonight (Tuesday, 8 December) is £10, £6 and £3.
