Hitchin Town FC have announced a deal with a major kit manufacturer.

In the first deal of its kind in the history of the club, the Canaries have revealed a new three-year kit partnership with Danish kit manufacturer Hummel, taking effect from the 2021-22 season.

The Canaries join a portfolio of professional clubs wearing the famous Hummel chevrons next season, including the Danish National Team, Premier League sides Everton and Southampton and Championship sides Charlton Athletic, Bristol City and Middlesborough.

Traditional colours

Within the deal, Hummel will provide all teamwear from the first-team to all 20+ Hitchin Town Youth FC teams, retaining the traditional yellow and green colours, via Stevenage-based teamwear retailer KC Sportswear.

Founded in 1923, Danish sportswear brand Hummel are one of the oldest sport brands in the world with an incredible footballing heritage.

The Top Field outfit have agreed a three-year deal with Hummel, replacing Errea who have supplied the club's kit since 2006.

Prior to this were two three-year stints with Spall and ICIS.

Hitchin Town youth, kit manager Craig Hay added: "It's fantastic to be in a position to strengthen relationships with the first team and move forward together.

"Really looking forward to the new kits."

Commemorative kit

The new home kit will be unveiled during the spring, with Hummel also supplying the custom commemorative away shirt to mark the 150th anniversary of Hitchin FC kicking off the FA Cup.

Just 29 of these shirts, limited to 150, remain available for sale until next Tuesday, March 9 at 9pm.

Also available from the end of April, a new Hummel x HTFC leisure range will be stocked within the online club shop, with the first team and youth team coaches displaying a consistent range throughout.
