We're back at Top Field!

So say Hitchin Town FC as they gear up to host Harpenden Town in a friendly on Thursday evening - in a clash labelled the constituency derby.

With both teams representing the Hitchin and Harpenden parliamentary constituency on-field matters should be interesting - especially given the Canaries excellent pre-season form so far.

However, the most important matter at hand is that after a gap of 185 days the Canaries are once again set to play at football match at their grand old ground on Fishponds Road.

And the good news is fans will be allowed in to watch - so long as they have purchased a ticket by 3pm.

The match against the Harps is a 730pm kick-off with no sales on the gate. Social distancing measures will be in place along with Covid-secure restrictions.

Hitchin have asked supporters to be aware there will be no food or drink on sale in the ground.

Hitchin Nub News will be covering the match tonight. Follow us on Twitter @HitchinNubNews and @laythy29 for live updates and read our website for all the latest on the Canaries.

If you can't make Top Field tonight then why not listen to the game on HTFC Radio on North Herts FM
