Calling volunteers - a popular Hitchin festival needs you!

The Walsworth Festival will be back in May - and needs plenty of volunteers to help it run smoothly.

Covid forced the family friendly festival to halt during the coronavirus crisis.

However, Hitchin Nub News understands that the final hurdle has now been cleared for the decades-old event to return, now that the final all-clear has been given from on high.

And that's where YOU come in. The big-hearted, community-minded Hitchin public.

Organiser and well-known pillar of the Hitchin community, Felix Camfield-Walker confirmed the date to be Saturday, May 22.

"We're looking for volunteers to help on the day and local groups that might want to perform in the arena," Felix told Nub News.

If you fit the bill in terms of being a willing and able volunteer - or you are a local group that would love to perform, then please contact www.walsworthfestival.co.uk for more information in the first instance.
