HITCHIN WEATHER: The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning with fog set to blanket our area.

It is expected that there will be dense fog patches across our town and surrounding areas, which could also cause travel disruption including delays and possible flight cancellations at nearby Luton Airport.

The nation's forecaster shared the weather warning for the majority of the South East including North Herts from 10pm tonight [Tuesday, January 11] and lasting until midday tomorrow [Wednesday, January 12].

Light rain and drizzle are expected in the early part of the evening, but clearing skies and light winds into the early hours are likely to allow frost and fog patches.

Wrap up warm as minimum temperature are expected to be as low as -4 °C.
