The weather in Hitchin and surrounding areas will remain warm today, (Wednesday, September 22) - but how long will it last?

Our town is set for more sunny weather with highs of 20C this afternoon and plenty of late September sunshine.

The day will be full of sunny intervals and a gentle breeze, perfect for enjoying the wonderful outdoor spaces our area has to offer.

However, cloud will return this evening with the temperature dropping to around 13C.

There will be more of the same tomorrow (Thursday, September 23) with Friday forecast to be sunny all day with a top temperature being a balmy 23C.

Make the most of it as rain is set to return at the weekend.
