Owain Lister, Chair of Trustees for Helping Herts Homeless said "Peter has been an integral part of the charity since 2001 and we wanted to recognise his dedication by naming him a Lifetime Honorary President. Peter will continue to volunteer with the Charity, and we are grateful for his continued support."

Cllr Val Bryant, Leader of North Herts Council, said:  "Peter has given so much of his time and energy to Helping Herts Homeless over the years. It's fantastic to see him honoured in this way, and it's good to know that he will continue supporting the charity and those it helps."

The AGM was held at The Vic Pub in Hitchin and discussed plans for developing the North Herts Sanctuary site as well as recent and future fundraising and events.
