Herts Careline, the assistive technology service run by North Herts Council, has received glowing feedback in its latest customer satisfaction survey – with one user declaring, "I think you are perfect."

The 2025 survey highlights the vital role Herts Careline plays in helping people across Hitchin and Hertfordshire stay safe and independent at home.

Key results included:

• 100% of customers said they feel more reassured using the service.
• 99% reported being satisfied, or very satisfied.
• 99% would recommend the service to friends or family.
• 97% rated both call operators and the customer service team as providing excellent or good support.
• 91% said the service has helped them feel more independent.

Residents' comments praised both the professionalism and compassion of the team:

• "When I had a fall, everything was dealt with quickly and efficiently and the follow up was really good making sure that I was completely OK. That I was really pleased about – it did make me feel cared for. Thank you. I think you are perfect."
• "This is an invaluable service. It gives me peace of mind. I had a fall, and it helped me immensely."

Cllr Val Bryant, North Herts Council's Executive Member for Communities & Partnerships, said:

"These results are a real testament to the outstanding work of the Herts Careline team. It's wonderful to see so many residents feeling safer, more independent and reassured knowing support is just the touch of a button away."

Cllr Sally Symington, Hertfordshire County Council's Executive Member for Adult Care Services, added:
