Did you witness criminal damage take place in Hitchin? 

Officers are appealing for witnesses and information following a criminal damage incident in Hitchin. 

The incident occurred on Saturday (June 24) at around 1215am, at Hitchin Rugby Club. 

It is reported that someone allegedly used a brick to smash two windows to the entrance of the rugby club. 

It is believed that the suspect who was wearing a top with a distinctive coloured logo, including the letters 'PS' in the middle, was in the area around the time of the incident. It is believed that the full logo is "TRAPSTAR". 

PC Hugh Roper, who is investigating, said: "I am appealing to anyone who might have witnessed the incident take place to contact me. 

"If you remember seeing anyone acting suspiciously in the area at around the time of the incident, please report this to police."
