Looking to join a friendly Hitchin group where you can 'learn, laugh and live'?

Then look no further than the sociable Hitchin u3a.

Make the most of life by exploring new ideas, skills and interests with Hitchin u3a - with all members having access to informal learning and activities.

Hitchin u3a is a comparatively small, friendly group of more than 200 members, so they still have room to grow!

The idea at u3a is for members to learn, have fun and stay active by embracing the u3a ethos of 'learn, laugh and live'.

Because of the pandemic, they are unable to pursue all their usual exciting events and activities. However, the group's speaker meetings, normally at Christchurch, Bedford Road (opposite Waitrose), are broadcast on Zoom every two weeks, with many group meetings on Zoom as well.

Subjects include architecture, current affairs, dance, play and reading. When circumstances change as lockdown eases, u3a intends to bring back their bird watching and walking groups.

Prospective members are welcome to attend one or two of their regular speaker meetings on Zoom as a visitor.
