'We're on the final stretch before opening again', so says a renowned Hitchin barber.

It's not just pubs and restaurants who are gearing up to reopen when lockdown restrictions ease on Monday - hair salons are too.

Felix Farley's Hair Emporium on Hermitage Road have been busy preparing to once again welcome customers after lockdown.

Speaking to Nub News, owner of the popular Hitchin business, Felix Farley said: "We're now on the final stretch before opening Farley's again for the first time since December.

"We've spent the last week taking bookings, deep cleaning the salon, ordering fresh stock and making sure we have all the PPE we need and that everything is perfect for when we open the doors tomorrow morning.

"We're very much looking forward to getting back to the hustle and bustle of a busy salon.
