Lyndhurst Financial Management's third annual conference has been hailed as a huge hit.

The renowned finance experts in our area with offices in Hitchin and Harpenden hosted the eagerly-anticipated event on Friday at Rothamsted Research Conference Centre.

The conference broke previous attendance figures with a record amount of attendees present.

Speaking to Nub News, Lyndhurst's highly-regarded operations director Adam Cook said: "It was great to have so many people attend our Harpenden Personal Finance Conference – Intergenerational Wealth Transfer - especially those that made the slightly longer trip over from Hitchin and surrounding areas.

"The feedback was overwhelmingly positive. I enjoyed talking with individuals after the presentations and hearing their thoughts on the various topics including, inheritance tax planning, the use of business relief, later life care and the current economic climate.

"This was our third conference and attendees agree it was our biggest and best yet.

"All the speakers did a fantastic job and I thank them for their contribution on behalf of Lyndhurst and the attendees who said how much they enjoyed listening."

The intergenerational theme of this year's conference was particularly relevant after the past two years of global and personal uncertainty that we have all experienced, allowing antendees to reflect on the variety of financial solutions available to those of all ages and backgrounds.

"It was interesting to hear Hitchin and Harpenden MP Bim Afolami's views on the investment required to help solve the energy crises and build a sustainable future and answer questions from the audience on other key topics," Adam added.

Lyndhurst will be editing the videos of the presentations from the day and will post these on our website for anyone who couldn't attend - see Nub News for more on this soon.
