Man arrested after making threats to kill in Hitchin

A man from Hitchin has been arrested by Hertfordshire Police after making threats to kill.

The 43-year-old man was taken into custody before being bailed after police officers were called to an address off Redhill Road on Monday, afternoon (March 6).

The arrest came following a report of a potential domestic abuse incident at an address on a nearby street, in a bid to establish exactly what happened.

Police told Hitchin Nub News: "A 43-year-old man from Hitchin has been arrested on suspicion of making threats to kill and has been released on bail while enquiries continue."
