There are only twenty three days to go until the biggest M&S in North Herts is set to open!

As you can see by our exclusive Nub News pictures, the finishing touches are being put on the new M&S in Stevenage - which is gearing up to open in just over three weeks time from now.

While Hitchin has a busy Simply Food on Bancroft, legions of shoppers in and around our town are looking forward to the opening of the new M&S flagship in our area later this month.

Despite plenty of Nub News requests for more information from the M&S press department, they have stayed tight-lipped about the official opening date of their store at the Roaring Meg Retail Park.

That is until their official M&S Stevenage Facebook page announced the opening date - which will be Thursday, April 28.

Nub News has been covering the story since Stevenage Borough Council's Planning and Development Committee approved the plans for the chain to move into the site that previously housed Debenhams.

Similar to the old Debenhams store M&S will offer their wares over two floors, with a food hall on the ground floor.

The store will also offer clothes, kidswear, beauty items, homeware, a café and an opticians.

PS: If you're interested in working for M&S, there are 11 customer service 11 jobs currently advertised to for roles in clothing, food or beauty.
