North Herts District Council awaiting detailed government advice on implications of second lockdown on its services

North Herts District Council are waiting for government advice about the implications of a second lockdown later this week.
Hitchin's district council that deals with waste and recycling, planning, leisure and parking, along with a lot more, is anticipating adapting to the country and county wide shutdown of many businesses and services.
However, with PM Boris Johnson only announcing a second lockdown at the weekend, the body is still awaiting guidance from the government ahead of Thursday's lockdown.
A spokesperson for NHDC told Hitchin Nub News: "Following the announcement of a lockdown for England from Thursday, we are currently awaiting more detailed information from government about the implications of this for our services.
"A further statement will follow with details of any service changes and closures.
