Local shops and businesses across Hitchin are being encouraged to join in the celebrations for North Herts PRIDE Day by displaying the official Pride Decoration Pack, now available for £15.

The packs have been created to help the town show visible support for the LGBTQ+ community in the lead‑up to PRIDE on Thursday 22 August. Each pack includes three progressive flag bunting, 30 North Herts PRIDE stickers, five honeycomb hearts, and five handheld Pride flags — all designed for window displays, counters, and shop entrances.

North Herts PRIDE, co‑founded by Katie Wilson and Niamh Skinner, has grown into a major community event supported by local organisations and traders. With PRIDE Day approaching, organisers hope to see Hitchin's high street decorated in the colours of inclusion, helping create a welcoming atmosphere for residents and visitors.
