Oasis fans attending the band's huge Knebworth Park concerts next year could spend almost £190 million on top of the cost of their tickets, according to new analysis.
The band is set to return to Knebworth for four nights as part of its 20-date 2027 UK tour, with around 90,000 fans expected at each show.
Analysis by Novuna Personal Finance estimates the four Knebworth concerts could therefore generate around 360,000 attendances and £189.1 million in additional spending.
That would represent more than a quarter – 27.3 per cent – of the estimated £693.3 million in non-ticket spending generated by the entire UK tour.
The figures cover money spent by concertgoers on food and drink, travel, accommodation, merchandise, shops, attractions and other purchases associated with their trip.
For North Herts and the surrounding area, the arrival of hundreds of thousands of Oasis fans could potentially provide a significant boost for businesses including pubs, restaurants, hotels and transport providers.
The estimate is based on spending patterns identified around Oasis's 2025 reunion tour, with Novuna calculating average additional spending of £525.20 for each concert attendance.
Across the entire 2027 tour, food and drink is expected to be the biggest expense at almost £210 million, followed by £179.5 million of wider spending in shops, attractions and other businesses.
Travel could account for £156.6 million, merchandise £94.8 million and accommodation £52.5 million.
Knebworth is one of just three locations on the UK tour, alongside Manchester and Glasgow.
Manchester's 11 nights at the Etihad Stadium are projected to generate £346.6 million in non-ticket spending, while five nights at Glasgow's Celtic Park could generate £157.6 million.
Theresa Lindsay, Chief Marketing Officer at Novuna Personal Finance, said: "The scale of these shows is incredible. Our analysis suggests fans could spend more than £693 million on top of the cost of their tickets, so the impact goes well beyond the venues themselves.
"With 11 nights in Manchester alone, you're talking about hundreds of thousands of people spending money on food and drink, travel, hotels, shopping and merchandise. Knebworth and Glasgow will see the same effect.
"It's a huge opportunity for local businesses and shows just how much a major tour like this can contribute to the wider economy."
Oasis's return to Knebworth will come more than 30 years after the band's legendary August 1996 concerts at the Hertfordshire venue.
