Hitchin's Red Hart is gearing up for another unforgettable Oktoberfest, running from Wednesday 1st to Sunday 5th October 2025. The pub promises five days of big beers, live music and authentic German-inspired food specials.

This year's Oktoberfest will feature:

🎶 Live music line-up

  • Friday 3rd October – Tom Braggins Trio (8pm, free entry)
  • Saturday 4th October – The Bavarian Strollers, a traditional German Oompah band (8pm, free entry)

🍺 Big beers

Official Oktoberfest beers will be on tap, alongside The Red Hart's usual range of craft brews – all served in iconic 1-litre steins.

🍽️ Food specials

  • Chicken schnitzel with caper and preserved lemon butter, served with spaetzle
  • Kite's Oktoberfest Burger: a beef and bone marrow patty topped with beechwood smoked cheese, sauerkraut slaw, crispy onions, currywurst burger sauce and skinny fries
  • Warm apple strudel with cinnamon ice cream

Landlord Kiet and the team at The Red Hart say they can't wait to welcome regulars and visitors alike for one of the pub's most popular annual events.

With free live music, hearty German-inspired food and plenty of beer flowing, Oktoberfest 2025 at The Red Hart is set to bring a real taste of Bavaria to Hitchin.
