Local groups across North Herts have just one month left to apply in the next round of the Council's community grants. Grants of £500–£1,500 are available to support projects that benefit local communities.

The Council is particularly keen to see applications from Hitchin and Letchworth, with the deadline on 11 January fast approaching. There is still plenty of funding remaining in each town's budget, so groups here are especially encouraged to apply.

Cllr Daniel Allen, North Herts Council's Executive Member for Governance, said: "These grants are a fantastic opportunity for local groups to bring their ideas to life and make a real difference in our communities. The process is straightforward, and our Community Partnerships Officers are on hand to offer support if needed."

Local groups in the Southern Rural area have until 11 January, Royston - 18 January, and Baldock - 25 January, so there's still time to apply.
