Wasn't it great to see Hitchin reawaken on Monday after three lockdowns in 13 months?

With restrictions easing, and hopefully further relaxed next month, we are all looking forward to getting together again.

If you are organising a future local event, small or large, for entertainment starved lockdowners, we want to help.

Our What's On section has been given a fresh coat of paint, making it even easier for you to submit your events.

Click here to take a look.

Hitchin Nub News aims to bring you topical news and views from our town and across north Herts.

But we are also just as keen to promote all of the community groups and activities that add so much value to our lives.

How to share your event

It only takes a couple of minutes to publicise your upcoming event.

Just visit the What's On section and hit the black "Nub It" button at the top of the page.

A simple form will appear. Choose a title for your post, and add any photos and information you think people should know about.

Then click submit, and your post will be checked and approved. As a further bonus we'll share it on our social media channels to spread the word with our many thousands of readers.

It's as easy as that

We look forward to learning about - and promoting - your plans for forthcoming events.

If you have any questions, please feel free to send an email or message us on social media.

Thanks and all good wishes.
