A new chicken restaurant has announced it will be hosting a grand opening for punters.

Peckers Hitchin is set to open in Hitchin next week - and according to the owners you're all welcome. 

The store in Westmill will be selling fried chicken as well as offering dine-in, takeaway and delivery options.

Peckers on John Barker Place have confirmed their grand opening will be next week.

Peckers owners said in an Insta post: "We are excited and proud to announce the grand opening date for Peckers Hitchin.

"Tuesday (February 28) we will be finally opening our doors and welcoming you all on this new chicken experience.

"Stay tuned for our opening hours this week.

"See you Peckers soon."

As reported by Nub News previously, the area is undergoing a substantial rebuild, including provision for 48 'affordable homes'. 

Peckers will be situated at 25 John Barker Place, next to the new NISA store.
