Witness appeal after altercation in Stevenage

Police investigating an altercation in Stevenage are appealing for the victim to come forward, as well as anyone else who may have information about what happened.

The incident occurred at around 228pm on Friday, May 12, on the cycle path in Six Hills Way. 

It is reported that there was an altercation between two teenage boys and a man on a bike. During the altercation, it was alleged that a knife was seen, which was later recovered. 

Detective Constable Holly Dawson, who is investigating, said: "A passing member of the public reported the incident to police, but the man on the bike had already left before officers arrived and we're asking him to please come forward as part of our continuing enquiries.

"Additionally, if you saw anything or witnessed anyone acting suspiciously in the area at this time, please email me at [email protected]."
