Police are hunting thieves who attempted to break into a property in Hitchin on Boxing Day.

Officers say that between 507pm and 534pm on Monday, December 26 "offenders attempted a burglary in Wilbury Way,: adding "please be vigilant and do report any suspicious activity or behaviour in the area.

Please contact the police on the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime number 41/104629/22, if you have any information relating to this crime.
