Police launch appeal after dogs killed by poisoning in Stevenage

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a report of two dogs being poisoned in Stevenage.

It has been reported that two dogs at an address in Brimstone Road were deliberately poisoned on, or around, Tuesday 18 May.

PC Ryan McMenemy, who is investigating, said: "Sadly both dogs have died following this incident.

"This is being treated as an isolated incident and enquiries are being carried into the circumstances of it.

"I'm appealing to anyone who has information about this or to anyone who saw anything suspicious around the Brimstone Road area on Tuesday 18 May, or the days leading up to it, to get in touch.
