Police are appealing for the public's help to trace a local man who is wanted in the Stevenage area.

Jason Harper-Stott, aged 37, of no fixed abode, is wanted in connection with assault.

He also has links to Hitchin.

"Anyone who sees Harper-Stott, or has any information about his whereabouts, is asked to report information online, speak to an operator in our Force Communications Room via our online web chat or call the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference number 41/47110/24," a Hertfordshire Constabulary statement said

"Alternatively, you can stay 100% anonymous by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their untraceable online form at crimestoppers-uk.org."
