CCTV appeal after theft in Hitchin

Police are releasing CCTV images of someone they want to identify following a theft in Hitchin.

The incident occurred between 1145am and 110pm on Friday, February 16, when it is reported that a blue Jaguar XF was broken in to on Paynes Park. Cash was taken from the vehicle.

PCSO Cynthia Combe, from the Hitchin Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: "Our enquiries are continuing, and I am urging anyone with information to please get in touch.

"We are releasing this image because we believe the individual pictured may have been in the area at the time and could have information to assist our investigation.

"Is this you, or do you recognise this person? Please email me at [email protected] with any information. Thank you."
