Police have released images of a person they want to identify after a card theft in Hitchin.

The incident occurred at around 1pm on Wednesday, December 21 at the HSBC branch on Market Place.

The victim had been using a cash machine at the bank when he was approached by another man who distracted him and stole his bank card and cash.

This was later used at another machine to withdraw several hundred pounds before it was cancelled.

"If you recognise this person, or have any further information, please email me at [email protected]."
