Local residents and tradespeople visiting Global Ardour Recycling's site in Hitchin this July have the chance to win £1,000 as part of a week-long draw.

Anyone bringing in non-ferrous scrap between Monday 28th July and Friday 1st August will be eligible to enter. Customers simply scan a QR code at the site and complete a short form to be included in the draw.

A spokesperson for the company said: "We operate to give customers a fast, reliable scrap metal service with competitive rates. The prize draw is a straightforward way to give something back and highlight what we do to more people in the area. We want to encourage more people to recycle and contribute to the circular economy so that less ends up in landfill."

There is no additional purchase or commitment required, just a qualifying drop-off during the specified dates.
