There's nothing like the prospect of an August Bank Holiday to boost the spirits and help you enjoy a well-earned break – but they do creep up on you.

Lazy Sunday at The Hoo is an eagerly-awaited event at the brilliant Offley Hoo Farm, a short drive from our town and surrounding areas.

Bar N and The Barn Coffee Shop will be hosting live music from Ed Tattersall, Dan Lumley & Paddy.

Along with the excellent live music there will be a mouth-watering barbecue and drinks at the bar and cidery.

Offley Hoo Farm, only a few miles from Hitchin is fast becoming a must-visit destination.

The site is flourishing with new businesses, shops and stores opening all the time - and is set to become a destination visit for those from Hitchin and further afield.

The farm already offers a top quality butchers, a coffee shop and garden centre - with plans well advanced to add plenty of new businesses.
