A Hitchin man has been charged with possession of an offensive weapon, affray, threats to kill and a racially aggravated public order offence.

The charges come after an incident in Morrisons in Letchworth that Nub News reported last week.

Simon Dhunna, aged 44, of Seebohm Close in Hitchin, was arrested in Letchworth on Thursday (January 18) after he allegedly threatened someone with an offensive weapon and was racially abusive.

Herts Police attended after 930am to Morrisons in Broadway, before locating found the suspect in Hillbrow.
