1. A Children's Concert

Hitchin Symphony Orchestra is "delighted to present" a Children's Concert on Sunday 30 June, from 3pm to 4pm at The British Schools Museum.

This fun and informal concert is designed for children and their families, featuring accessible and short orchestral classics. 

During the performance children may sit on the floor at the front for close-up views of the musicians.

3. Krapp's Last Tape

Coming to the Queen Mother Theatre in Hitchin this weekend is the classic play Krapp's Last Tape by Samuel Beckett.

Running until Saturday 29 June, tickets cost £12.

Both funny and tragic, the classic sees Krapp - who lives alone - take out a bottle of wine, a banana and his tape recorder, and he listen as his own voice from the past recounts the glories and hopes of his youth.
