Here is our list of top picks for events in Hitchin this weekend - brought to you in partnership with Molly Malones.
Molly Malones on Nightingale Road is an acclaimed public house that plays a huge part in our community.
Clare Waller is Molly's renowned landlady who has rejuvenated the popular pub, and is a force for good in our town, with the establishment often providing the platform for charity collections and community events.
Molly's aim is to provide the most welcoming environment to its legion of locals, complete with the best ales available while playing host to live music and a wealth of sociable community events.

Here are our top picks for the coming days:
1. North Herts Pride
North Herts Pride is "delighted" to be hosting another Pride market day.
This time even bigger (22 stalls) with a range of stalls from arts and crafts to local support networks to talk to.
It doesn't stop there, the evening has not one but two after parties. The first is at Cinnabar and the second at the Pitcher and Piano.
Please check the Instagram page for details of the PRIDE parade and all the other events.
2. Elvis
JD King's award winning Elvis tribute show returns to Hitchin by popular demand on Friday 19 July.
JD King is the 2024 European Grand Champion and reigning Grand Champion of the Harbor Lights Elvis Festival (2023), a member of the Elvis Tribute Artist Hall of Fame and appears regularly on TV & radio.
He will be coming to St Mary's Church this weekend!
3. Bring & Sing
Join Hitchin Thespians for a celebration of musical theatre at this Bring & Sing event under the baton of maestro Hannah Long as we sing Gilbert & Sullivan's Trial by Jury, and an abridged HMS Pinafore.
All participants are "very welcome", a full cast rehearsal will be held 2pm-5:30pm followed by a ticketed evening performance at 7:30pm.
"Whether you would like to bring your musical talents to bear by participating or prefer to sit back with a drink and enjoy the thrills and spills of an impromptu concert performance, join us at Woodside Hall to celebrate the talents of our most famous homespun musical duo, Gilbert & Sullivan, with one of the earliest established musical theatre groups in the UK," organisers said.
