Spring Forecast 2026 - What you need to know
By James Denselow 25th Feb 2026
The Spring Forecast will be released on 3 March 2026, offering an update on how the UK economy is performing and what may lie ahead.
While this isn't a full Spring Budget, it does provide useful context on the wider financial landscape, including inflation, growth and public finances.
There are no new tax rates or major policy changes expected at this stage. Instead, the Forecast builds on the measures already announced last year, such as the freeze on income tax and National Insurance thresholds, upcoming dividend and savings tax changes, and adjustments to ISA allowances in 2027.
For many people, this is a good moment to pause and check that your financial plans are still aligned with your long‑term goals – especially as confirmed tax changes continue to roll out over the next few years.
If you'd like a clear, easy-to-read overview of the confirmed measures that may affect your finances, you can read their full Budget Edition guide here.
As always, if you have any questions about your financial planning or would like support reviewing your position, they are here to help.
