There are no awards for festive house decorations sadly but if there were it's hard to look past the house on Milestone Road in Westmill.

Residents and visitors from across Hitchin flock to the beacon of light which has a contactless facility to raise much needed funds for Keech Hospice Care.

Ken, the owner and creator of the magical residence, explained to Hitchin Nub News that whilst powering the light show and snow machine costs him £10 a day, it's well worth it to support a good cause and see how much children love it.
