Three teenagers have been arrested after a 17-year-old was threatened near Asda in Stevenage

At around 645pm on Saturday (January 27), a group of teenagers approached the boy in an underpass near the supermarket in Monkswood Way.

It is alleged the group threatened him, before trying to take his phone.

Herts Police say they 'immediately' located a group of teenagers in the area, before detaining and searching them.

Two boys from Biggleswade, aged 13 and 15, were arrested on suspicion of attempted robbery.

A 17-year-old girl from Stevenage was also taken into custody on suspicion of possession of a bladed article.

All three teenagers have been released on bail while enquiries continue.
