With Mother's Day fast-approaching, what are your plans to treat your dear mum?

The Orange Tree in Hitchin is offering a special Mother's day menu.

The establishment on Stevenage Road, which has been a McMullen pub since 1902, was rebuilt in 1976 and revamped in 2018, is taking pre-orders for pick-up now.

So why not treat your dear mum to a special Mother's Day lunch and thank her for all she does. (See image for details on the succulent special menu).

And don't forget, with April 12 marking the day pubs can reopen their beer gardens, why not pencil in a trip to the Orange Tree and take in their secret garden and sun trap, just a stone's throw from the bustling town centre, and a hub of the local community.

Expect locally brewed beers, world lagers, hand selected wines and a delicious menu celebrating the best of the British pub.

Cheers!

For Mother's Day, customers are requested to pre-order by 10am, Saturday, March 13 via the Orange Tree's Facebook page or email the team at [email protected]

Please note food is only for pick-up, on Sunday, March 14, between the hours of 12pm and 4pm. The Organt Tree general manager will call on Saturday, March 13 to take payment.
