Nub News Up Close with Fabio in his own words
We're now bracing for what we hope is going to be an amazing summer of normality and great weather.
However, we've also got the foundations in place if Covid strikes again to be able to tick over, and limp through.
Hopefully it's a summer we all remember for good reasons this year.
What we've learned during three lockdowns
We've learnt so much over the year and have had time to tear the business model apart to make some changes and improvements over the coming years to ensure we can survive anything.
We've launched at home kits which have been a huge success - customers can now make ice cream in their own homes, with no specialist equipment with my secret recipe.
We've also launched gelato/ice cream celebration cakes and only yesterday (Tuesday) launched an Easter one - which is up for grabs to win on Facebook and Instagram.
Thoughts as Easter approaches
For Easter we're planning to open the doors for reduced hours as 'take out' only.
Then, during the next restriction relaxation, we're going to allow limited seating inside.
And then by June the weather will be good enough for everyone to be outside enjoying gelato!
On a personal note
We're nervous and excited! Why? Because Hannah's expecting our second daughter in July!
