SATURDAY: Hitchin Christmas Market

You are cordially invited to come the Hitchin Market Place this winter as it hosts its annual Christmas Market.

The two week event will be free of charge to attend and boast an array of Christmas market chalets.

The eagerly-awaited event runs until Tuesday, December 21.

SATURDAY St Mark's Family Christmas Celebration

Join us from 4pm as we sing carols in the car park.

All your favourites, both religious and not-so-religious...inside if wet!, do crafts that tell the Christmas story, and then sing some more carols!

There will also be food and mulled wine.

This is a free event, but cash donations for food are welcomed

SATURDAY: Farmers on Christmas Light Tour

Residents of Hitchin - Do you love Christmas? And do you love tractors?

Then you are in luck!

You have all seen tractors but not like the ones that will be passing through Hitchin on Saturday, December 18 as part of the Farmers on Christmas Light Tour.

Come out and watch up to 100 tractors dressed up for Christmas with decorations and lights passing through our local area.

The Farmers on Christmas Light Tour is raising funds for the Garden House Hospice, so please come out and support and make a donation. I have been informed that Father Christmas will also be joining the tractors!

The final leg of the tour will see the tractors passing through Hitchin at 730pm, travelling down Hermitage Road, Bancroft and High Street before the 100-strong convoy will park up in Portmill Lane Carparks for around one hour for your viewing pleasure.
