Echoes of Time - a film & musical tour of the history of Hitchin
As part of the Hitchin Festival, Hitchin Brass Band are back at St Mary's Church on Saturday 19th July with a concert in collaboration with Hitchin Films and Hitchin Historical Society.
This event will show many historical films of Hitchin accompanied by music of the time period. We are really looking forward to this event and hope to see you there!

Arkley Fine Art Summer Show
The annual summer show returns to Arkley Fine Art gallery on Saturday 19th July, bringing with it a lively celebration of bold colour, fresh artistic talent, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
Visitors can expect a dynamic new collection featuring original works from six outstanding artists, each offering their own unique perspective and style. the exhibition promises to be a highlight of the season, showcasing everything from expressive abstracts to finely detailed compositions.
The gallery will be marking the opening with drinks and good cheer, inviting guests to soak up the sunshine, enjoy a beer or two, and experience the joy of art in its most uplifting form.

James Bay - The Priory Park Series in Hitchin
Hitchin, get ready for a very special night as JAMES BAY returns home for an unforgettable show at Priory Park this summer on Saturday 19th July!
Joining him on stage are the incredible FREYA RIDINGS, SKINNY LIVING, PEONIE, and AMELLIA BROWN – a stunning lineup set to make this a night to remember
Bee Taster Day @ Honeyworks
These 1-day courses are held at our Honeyworks Beekeeping centre where friendly, experienced beekeepers will allow you to learn the first skills of beekeeping. You will enjoy looking inside a beehive, watching the bees at work and trying to find the queen in amongst the thousands of worker bees. You will also find out about different approaches to beekeeping, what equipment is needed and get an idea of how much time you need to spend. There will be plenty of time for discussion and questions with our very experienced beekeepers. Perhaps this could be the start of your new pastime!
