Why Should I Buy an Electric Mountain Bike: Q&A with Hitchin's Cycle Agents' expert boss Simon Michell

WHY SHOULD I BUY AN eMTB (Electric Mountain Bike)?

Well, they are fun, exciting & amazing to ride.

IS IT NOT CHEATING?

No, you can ride just a hard as you normally do if you wish, but you can go further, faster & make going up hill as easy as going down hill if you want to.

ARE eBIKES GOOD FOR THE ENVIRONMENT?

Yes, if you can use your eBike more and your car less, surely it's not only better for the environment, but also for congestion, parking, emissions, your health, heart, soul and mind.

AS A CAR DRIVER, I FIND CYCLIST A PAIN...

Agreed, but times are changing and the future of our mobility is going to include eBikes more and more, for commuting, work, school runs, shopping & obviously pleasure. Also the best thing about an eMTB, is you can get off our over crowded pothole ridden roads and use all tracks, trails and cycle lanes that we are lucky enough to have on our doorsteps.

BUT GOOD SAFE eBIKES ARE SO EXPENSIVE...

Unfortunately quality, safety and performance costs, however you can now RENT, LEASE & OWN one for a little as £25 per week.
