Police are appealing for witnesses and information following reports of a dog being dangerously out of control in Hitchin.
At around 5.45pm on Wednesday 5 March, a woman was reportedly bitten by a small German Shepherd-type dog that was off its lead in Priory Park, causing a facial injury.
Efforts are ongoing to trace the owner who is described as a white woman in her late teens/early 20s, around 5ft 9ins tall and of proportionate build with long, wavy dark brown hair. She was said to be wearing a lime green jacket and black trousers.
PC William Cox, who is investigating, said: "Is this you, or do you recognise this person from the description? Please email me at [email protected] with any information you may have."
